Journaling: This week started out with quite the scare. Sunday morning I almost passed out and the Dr told us that we needed to come in to be monitored. My blood pressure was fairly low at 96/58 which is probably why I almost passed out. After being on the monitor for four hours we found that I was having contractions about every 15 mins with 4 each hour. Luckily Dr. Fenton was on call so he was able to come see me. He did another u/s of my cervix and it showed that it had gone from 4.5cm to 3.3cm but it was still in the normal range. He wasn’t too worried about the contractions and said they were a normal pattern for a twin pregnancy at this gestation. I was told to continue on as normal and increase my fluids but I would have another appt. In two weeks to see if they were doing anything more to my cervix. I’ve continued to have them all week, but I’m trying not to worry and praying that this isn’t the start to what will soon be bed-rest. I want to work as long as possible, but will do anything that is best for you two girls to keep you cooking as long as possible. 8/4/06
