Love working with mixed media, it seems so freeing! Titled “How'd I get HERE?” I started this project with materials already on my ‘bench’. The bg paper & CS, the distress ink on water color paper bg and even the lace. Put the clay thru a pasta press several times, traced the shape onto the clay and cut it with a craft knife.Then stamped the Sculpey clay and baked. On the bottom clay layer I added versamark ink and silver ranger ep, heat set. The top layer was painted with Twinkling H2Os in Siam white and Pink Chiffon. The stamps used are from SU and Sassafrass Lass (?) on each piece respectively. The whimsy arrived as a Penny Black stamp inked with ColorBox and heat embossed, colored with Copics and the duck was beheaded. OMG! The beads were pilfered from an old necklace and cemented to the back of the piece. The elements were layered together and finally when searching my stash for ribbon I found the perfect wired ribbon to add a bit more glitter and whimsy.
