I started with an inexpensive acrylic frame (to be used kind of as a shadow box?) and a SU set, I'm sorry I don't know the name of the set. I stamped 2 flowers with Concord grape distress ink. Then using a water brush and the grape and broken glass inks from the craft mat surface to paint the flowers & cut one out and set them aside. I stamped the focal image with grey and black(LIFE) and embossed with clear. Then I used a felt applicator to apply the distress inks around the perimeters of both the flower and the focal image. Die cut and glittered the border. Then cut everything to size and assembled. I used pop dots to apply one flower to the other putting the bit of wired cording between the two and curled the petals & glued that to the corregated cardboard. I also used tiny pop dots to apply the border. the rest is basic assembly. I used framers tape to mount the finished card to the cardboard insert and inserted it to a depth that gave the flower ‘room to breathe’. I'm thinking I may trim out the edges but I'm not sure. I kinda like seeing the depth. What do you think, trim or not? TFL and taking the time to comment. ~Marshia
