Continuation of my album about our first dog, Kaytee. This was not long after we brought her home, her first time in the back of the truck. We didn't drive with her back there for quite a while, but she loved it anyway. One big house for her! Journaling reads: Kate, you were the best birthday present I could have asked for! I got a leash and a promise on my actual birthday, and two months later we got you. John was so funny, he told me not to expect to bring a pup home, we were “just looking.” But one look at you and he was hooked, and he wouldn’t think of leaving you there! We weren’t at all prepared for a puppy, but after a quick stop at the store for food, dishes, toys and treats, we made it through that first night, and the rest is history ~Kraft paper from Pretty in Camo; All the rest from Red, White & True.
