I created this LO to showcase the Chatterbox Poolhouse Theme Set.
Journaling:
This summer we took a vacation with Mom and Dad Myers and Keith's sister, Cyndi and her husband, Wayne and their children (Luke, Matthew and Grace). Grace and Claire have always been very close and have so much fun when they are together. They come up with some very interesting things to play since both girls have incrdible inventive imaginations.We went to the beach at Lake Michigan and they created all kinds of things to play, most of which involved "make-believe." They decided to play "Buried Treasure" and it was decided that Claire would BE the buried treasure. Grace painstakingly covered her in sand. And I do mean COVERED her. When it got to the point where sand was getting into Claire's ears, I told them the treasure had been buried deeply enough. (Grace had been burying Claire in sand for at least 20 minutes.) This was very disturbing to Garrett. He really didn't want his sister to be buried up to her chin in sand and he kept saying, "Stop it, Grace!" After the treasure had been sufficiently buried, it was time to unearth it and Claire wanted to do that herself. She told everyone to stand back and then she very carefully, very slowly and very dramatically stood up out of the sane. And then of course whe POSED for me to take her picture! Frankly, I would have been shocked if she hadn't. (Side note: Whenever Garrett looks at these pictures he tells me he doesn't "want Grace to do that to her ever again.")
