This is an 8x8 layout for a circle journal I am participating in at another site. The theme was "Memorable Moments". Instead of picking out one or two moments, I picked six events, constructed tags or used themed die cuts to represent each, put some notes/journaling on the back, and stuck them into pockets I created on the page. The memories/events I chose were:
-my brother's wedding
-my nephew's birth
-my first plane ride/Star Trek convention
-important dates in my dog's (Quincy's) life
-a trip to Disney World
-a first date with someone
I still have one other page to construct, too, and that one will have pictures and more extensive journaling. I have been influenced a lot lately by Rebecca Sower and find it challenging to create layouts without pictures and I wanted to try that for one of the two pages I am making for this journal.
