When I was five, I got lots of compliments wearing this handknit poncho. I also recall being irked when the fringe tangled in the chains of the swings. Thirty years later ponchos are back in vogue. Mom pulled it out of the attic for Erica, who is five. It is too big for her so I'm proudly wearing my now “vintage” poncho - and still getting lots of compliments!<br><br>Tag reads: Knit by Marilyn Spadoni 1974 - Modeled by Erica DePedro 2004.<br><br>Photos are of my mom and my cousin.
