Dumb jock. <br>I was fortunate enough to get to know the boy behind the carefully crafted facade. <br>The bright, charming, funny, caring boy.<br>Maybe it was because we met during band camp when Steven was just a trumpet player & not yet a hot shot fullback. I could see past the steely glare and the confident swagger.Whatever the case, I’m glad that I could – or that Steven let me - see the layers. I am fortunate enough to know the man that boy grew up to be. <br>The bright, charming, funny, caring man.”
