I finally completed my craft room remodel. It seems to be what I do each winter. I have a fairly small room so all space has to be used well. Thank you IKEA for all your splendid products.I couldn't repaint the walls so decided to use a lot of white and then quirky antique type accents. 1. Room from the door. As you can see, not large.2. Center Island - this is made with 4 Store In Style cubes and a Besta set of shelves. I had a counter top left over from our office remodel and it fit PERFECTLY!!3. The entire south wall is IKEA. It is 2- 2x6 high Bonde shelf units (not longer made) and 3 - 2x4 Expedit units. This left space on the top of the Expedits for small albums and decorative accents.4. Top of those shelves. 5. 2 Alex units. LOVE these and the tops are perfect for my Cricuts an large format printers.6. Decided on a long desk. I used 2 layers of premade shelves from Menards and the legs are IKEA too.7. Used the IKEA picture ledges for wall display8-9-10. More IKEA picture ledges. Love these. I was also really inspired by the add for April Color Month on Two Peas. This is my take on it. Love how this turned out.11. Closet in room. 12. I put 3 IKEA Besta book shelves in there and they fit perfectly. Then I realized how much space was on top and my verticle Crop In Style storage for paper fit beautifully. Now my goal is to not get more paper than can fit there. 13. I decided that the closet would hold the finished albums, paper and tools so below the paper holders are 2 sets of shelves of finished albums. The narrow shelf is for tools.14. I even used the space between the door and the closet for display.15. Fun display room for statues and accents16. More fun display room inthe extra cubes.17. How I sort and store my loose embellishments along with antique typewriter and my new long narrow Coke boxes for more embellishment storage. Still working on the plan for those.18. Love this small wire manneqin and saw how people used them for hanging ribbons. I decided I wanted to see the metal so I made a clear base at the end of the “dress” and filled the inside with ribbon instead.19-20. Found this locker baskets at the Junk Bonanza and they fit perfect in the Expedits.21. More storage for larger pieces, faux trunks and paper book boxes. I use the trunks for things like plastic bads, my ScrapSak materials, and memorabilia. the paper book boxes are for lots of memorabilia storage through the years. And, of course, a nice bed for the “kidds” (puppies).Enjoy!
