Thanks for looking. :D Thanks for the challenge Shelby. I love doing these.
Brand spanking new Diane's Daughters Rustic Gems papers.
The main photo lifts up to reveal hidden journaling. You’re sixteen months old and still nursing quite heavily. Your brother weaned himself at one year and I expected you to do the same. Everyone always asks me, “How long will you let her nurse?” I think I’ll let you go as long as you want, within reason of course. You love to nurse. It has to be your most favorite thing to do. When ever I lay you in my lap for “nursing preparation”, you get very excited, wave your arms, wear a giant smile while looking me directly in the eye and make cute little happy noises. My mother described your enthusiasm once as “being excited as if it were Christmas”. Your brother has also drawn several pictures of you nursing. He calls it, “mursing”, and so we call it that, too. I can’t believe that I’ve allowed you to continue to get up during the middle of the night to nurse, too. You should be sleeping through the night, but I have spoiled you. Nothing can comfort your little falls and owies like nursing can. You don’t have a blankie to comfort you, you have nursing. You’re also getting old enough that if I don’t nurse you at your first request; you think you can just help yourself. It doesn’t matter where we are at, you will try to lift my shirt up. Despite all the time and energy it takes to nurse you, it’s something I truly enjoy too. The picture here is while we were nursing. It’s always a joy to slow down the day a little bit and just look into your eyes while you look back at me. Love you Baby Kat, Mommy.
