I'm excited to bring you a new card making video series called Trendy Trios! On the first of each month, I'll be featuring one of the top trends in the industry right now & showing you three unique ways to incorporate that trend into your paper crafting projects. The focus this month is on instant photo frames (i.e. Polaroids, Instax frames.)The first featured project is a baby card that I made with a really cute collection from Crate Paper & some stamps from Mama Elephant (a new company found here at Two Peas). I love these stitched pockets from Studio Calico as well. They're great to use as an alternative to envelopes. The second card is a masculine card that I made for my son's teacher. The Polaroid die-cut from Studio Calico makes a great frame for a sentiment. For the last card, I show you how to create a photo frame with text using the Silhouette. (If you don't own a Silhouette, I give you an alternative suggestion to create a similar look.) This Instagram photo that I took at my sister's wedding makes a great wedding/anniversary/Valentine's Day card.My challenge for you is to create a card or layout that includes an instant photo frame.
