Still running a few weeks behind here!Journaling: We started a new project this weekend at the cabin - building a rock wall to stabilize the area below the deck. Les hauled large rocks with the ATV and I filled in all the smaller spots. We finished about half of it by the time we had to go back. An osprey very kindly sat at the top of a dead tree below for about twenty minutes one afternoon, giving me the chance to take lots of photos. This poor little goldfinch flew into our glass railing one afternoon and lay there totally stunned. Amazingly, just the day before, our neighbour, Shirley had mentioned that you should pick up a bird that’s been stunned like that and gently cup it in your hands to keep it warm and prevent it from going into shock. I was really surprised as I thought just picking the poor thing up would be enough to scare it to death. I gently picked her up and held her in my hands for about ten minutes. Sure enough, after about five minutes she managed to stand up and eventually flew away. Amazing! Supplies: O Scraps - Nina Scraps Joyful Days paper, Modern Art Collab paper; Little Dreamer - Heidi Larsen Edgity Edges, Jackie Eckles Essentials Overlays; Designer Digitals - Katie Pertet Photo Clusters 12, Bird Watcher Silhouettes, Worn Torn Journalers, 8pm Jewellry Tag freebie; Scrapbook Graphics - Tangie Baxter Splatter Graffiti Junque Journal
