When I received this package of Studio Calico Autumn Press papers I knew immediately I wanted to use it on a Thanksgiving layout. I love that there are pinks and blues and other non-traditional “autumn” colors on the papers. My favorite is the leaf print, but I love all of the papers and tried to use several of them on my two page layout.I didn't realize there would be letter stickers in the paper collection pack, so I was extra excited to find those in the package. I love the printed pink letters - and the smaller blue letters were perfect for adding the date to my page.Since I had a lot of photos, and they were all “busy” and full of lots of color, I opted to turn them black and white. It's kind of funny…I printed the photos on two different printers and some of them look a little more sepia than true black and white. At first I was going to reprint them, but then I decided I liked the subtle variation, so I mixed them up and used them all.Because there are so many photos, I decided to add only a few embellishments to my layout - I felt it was already pretty busy with the photos and patterned papers. I added a few buttons (from my minds eye) and a couple of embossed stickers (from we r memory keepers). Other than that, a bit of machine stitching and hand journaling were the only details I added. :)
