Jen's challenge for Snap & Scrap was to focus on your journaling. I have been meaning to scrap this memory for a long time and have shuffled these pics down my pile. This was the perfect opportunity to get it done. Here is the journaling in case you can't see it. “Do your kids like to go to the bank? Mine do! It all started when Cameron was around 2…I took him in to the bank and they offered him a pop. His very first pop. It was then that he discovered that the bank was almost as good as the grocery store. One of his first words was ”cookie“ as we drove by our local Shaws. Well, after the pop, we would come home from preschool and as I waited at the light to go home, he would point his little finger to the right and say ”bank“. When Danica was born, I stopped going in to the bank and started using the drive through. Cameron didn't like this much, but it was too hard to juggle a baby and a toddler. When she got a little older, she liked the drive through. She called the machine a ”robot“. We learned we could still get pops if we asked the robot :) Cameron preferred to go into the bank. He liked to pick out his own pop and play with the toys, especially the Thomas the Train table!”I had fun making the pops by cutting out small circles and coating them with glossy accents. tfl.
