Fits together beautifully - have missed your work on my brief siesta away from my computer great to come back and check out your gallery. Love those stamps!
Another beautiful lo! Absolutely love the circle journaling with the flower. You did a great job combining putting all of the different ideas together to make it your own!
Love it!! the photo is AWESOME and the half flower half journaling idea is super!!
You could put he title in the diamond or on the rock or on the right side of the pic down and on either side of the circle, but hey, your judgement is the best....it hasn't led you wrong yet!! LOVE the layout!
Gorgeous Gabrielle. I love how the paper colours bring out the colours in the photo. And I love Digidude's suggestion of the flower rotating... I may have to scraplift that idea. My vote would be on the rock - black or white. Black would be more subtle - but then what would I know about subtle LOL. Great job. TFS
This is beautiful, I love the matting of the photo, and the green jumps right off the page. Beautiful picture too. I think a white rub-on on the rock would look great.
I love this LO ... so cute ... going to have to lift the flower/circle journaling for sure. :) Re: the title, my suggestion was vertically on the diamonds as well, perhaps using smaller stamps, the two words on the bottom and top diamond, and some stamped icon of some sort in the middle diamond? I never would have thought on the rock, very clever, can't wait to see what you do. Fab LO as usual!
Your pages are always sooo elegant! this one is so beautiful! I love the idea of white rubon letters on the rock...it might look like it was carved in the rock...wonderful page! and your daughter is a beauty!!! :)
Gorgeous LO!!!! How about putting the title overlapping the lower right hand bottom corner of the photo? Maybe on a diamond shape but put on it's side. Love the stamping, the PPs and the diamond shape!! Fabulous job!
You have great instincts Gabrielle, put the title where your instinct tells you to, looking at the page after you have left it alone for a day or so ususally makes you see it with fresh eyes and those ideas start popping up, I can't tell you where to put it, I am hopeless at titles, they are the hardest bit for me lol, Fabulous page, love the colours and the journalling idea is sooooo cute, beautiful photo as always and I love those stamps - GORGEOUS, TFS :)
Love the photo!! That circle journaling with the half of the flower is so unique and I love it! I like the idea of putting the title on the rock!
This is really sweet. Love that circle again and especially with the flower side. You've gotten several good suggestions here. there's only one other I can think of and that might be vertically on the diamonds. But you might need a third word for that! Just a crazy idea. Love it just like it is!!
that sounds like just about the best way to wake up and begin a new day! Beautiful lo. love how you did the journlng and the use of the diamonds- i always want to use them, but can never figure out how.
This is wonderful! And the story is sweet. I was looking at the lo and wondering where I would put the title. On the rock would be cool - or maybe across the top of the corner of the picture and then down the side. Or using the bottom corner, down and across. Just an idea. I used some gold leafing on the chipboard letters in one of my layouts, that might be cool here too with the colors of your papers. (you can get it at walmart) I LOVE the circle with the flower in half of it and the journaling in the other half. Very creative!!!
Thank you Gaby for the compliment, I'm chuffed, your little girl always looks so dainty in your lo's, this is another I love, you are so creative. Sue :)
The rock and the branch (plus maybe some of the background/frame) above her head are possible, but I wonder if you could get away with gold/bronze letter stamps with these colors. Either way, very pretty and elegant LO already.
I had one question but I can see now it is sewn, it would be neat to see this half flower idea where it spins and shows more journaling. Still very very cool.
This page was so easy to do because I just used everyone elses ideas to come up with the l/o. I saw the idea for the papers and the diamond shapes in a book I was reading, the circle flower/journaling I got out of a magazine. This is the first time I've ever used foam stamps, I was totally inspired by 'Sue/Suzie' from the UK at this website, she always uses such wonderful architectual stamps in her pages (thanks Sue!)
The journaling reads: " Lately you've been stumbling into my room in the mornings, bunny and blanket in hand and planting a big warm kiss on me. What a great start to my morning."
The title to this l/o is 'Morning Kisses' but I didn't know where to put it, any suggestions?...I was thinking of getting rub-on letters to put it on the rock she's sitting on, but I think they should probably be in white so that they show up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
