Journaling reads: 2-27-05 New Orleans LA - I flew out to meet John for a long weekend while he worked a trade show. I had some time to myself from 10a - 3p while he was at the show, so I decided to head out and do a little street photography. I didn't carry a purse so my hands would be free and just threw the camera over my shoulder. I walked very slowly thru the french Quarter, taking time to plan my compositions and really “see” through the lens. At first I thought I would convert these to B&W, but New Orleans is such a fun, vibrant city I think I like them better in color. I got so caught up in what I was doing. before I knew it, it was 2:00. I hadn't eaten anything all day and I was really thirsty. I was also filling up my flashcard so I decided to head back to the hotel. This was a day I will remember forever.
