This is for the color challenge Week 14 :Red White and Blue…it's not a July 4th theme, but it happens to be one of my fave color combos. I'm still working on finishing ds' 1st year labum: we're bringing him in through the front door, his “Welcome Home”…so sweet & special to us. Tried a few new techniques here: made the wire wrapped flower, and tried utee on the BG chipboard letters….I think I should have left them uncovered…gave it a yellowish cast, but too late. Used Heidi Swapp fuzzy rubons…I can get addicted to these :). Made my own tassel. Love making my own embellishments, even though I have drawers full of them. Sorry, the scanner really messed up the top & bottom…I tried to PS it but made it worse. TFL!!!
