This is inspired from so many different sources: Combo of Dare #26 and 27, The Freestyle book from AL, the weekly color challenge (brown) and use-your-stash week 52 challenges. My mind works off tangents. Dare 26 was “Your Favorite Scent”, which for me is the “new baby” scent…I could sit in that rocking chair for hours sniffing his cotton head. Dare 27 was to use everyday materials that we toss, and use supplies in unusual ways. I used a cotton ball to make the two fuzzy flowers. For the weekly color challenge (brown) I cheated and could not make the dark brown work with this LO, so ended up using chipboard as my brown. For the stash challenge I used a lot of fibers & hand stitching, and added my own item- the clear epoxy tiles (…don't know which personality accumulated so many…it wasn't me though). I'm proud of myself for using my fugly photo image paper (clouds & grass) from the DCVW stack. LOVE this photo…another totally accidental shot my dh captured tinkering with the camera's settings. Some of our best photography is “in between” posing. Scanner cut off the bottom….there's 3 rows of the grass dew drops. TFL!!!
