<p>I was looking for the perfect tree accent for my Tree Day layout, and when I couldn't find one the right size, I decided to piece together my own using scraps and leftovers. I cut a piece of cardboard from a box for the trunk. The rest of the tree is made up of pieces of My Mind's Eye paper and buttons. Adhere buttons with glue dots. Simple hand drawn pen lines add a nice border around the layout. I wanted to keep things simple, so I didn't mat my photos. The lines bordering my photos ground the photos to the layout.
