<p>I love creating layouts that have lots of pattern, paint, and stitches. I painted the center of this small floral paper with a nice greenish blue acrylic paint letting the outside border remain floral. Once it was dry, I added strips of painted sticky back canvas around the edges of the dry paint. Then I added various sized chunks of pattern paper along the bottom, as well as a long strip of one of the patterns. The Love Elsie cloud canvas paper has been in my stash awhile, and I felt like it was the perfect addition to this very happy layout. I created a small collage in photoshop, using some photos that match my journaling. Hand journaling over painted paper is a lot of fun. Just make sure it is nice and dry. It will go much more smoothly for you!
