A layout of ds and his aunt. The paper is BG. The journaling which is on an accordian fold under “Family Forever” reads, “When Jackson said or did something so characteristic of either the Lamb side or Creager side of the gene pool, Greg or I would tease, “He gets that from your side of the family.” Is being stubborn something passed on genetically? (My side!) Is an almost insatiable love for chocolate something found in one’s DNA? (Greg’s side!) Who really knows? What I do know is that Jackson is very lucky to have aunts and uncles - both sides - who love him very much. That’s a trait worth passing down and learning from and that’s where Aunt Lee comes in. This photo was taken in the Spring of 2005. We met Lee, Joe and one of their friends at the Clarksville Rafferty’s for dinner and as you can see, Jackson was thrilled to see Aunt Lee. She listened intently to Jackson as he talked and snuck in a hug or two (or three) whenever she could. A couple of times she would have to calm Joe and Jackson down because they (usually Joe) was getting too boisterous. And as always our visit ended in Lee’s trademark, “Who loves ya?” and Jackson, without hesitation, fired back, “You and Uncle Joe!” Love of family – now that’s a trait to have and to experience. ”TFL!
