This is actually a Halloween layout. When I went through my pixs, I discovered that I hadn't taken any of ds actually trick or treating so I went a non-traditional route. Oh well! TFL! The “shady” character is actually dh. The journalling reads as follows: “Dateline: Central City – Oct. 31st 2004. The “Boy Wonder” allows himself to be photographed for the day. What is life like for our caped crusader? Join us as we find out? (1) It’s all about the look. Superheroes need to look good when doing good! Here, Robin shows us how he does it. Only someone with supreme confidence can get by with wearing red and green tights and actually look cute in them. (2) In order to protect the world from evil, even the most noble and pure of heart must occasionally associate with disreputable individuals in order to fight crime. Here, Robin checks up on a certain “shady” character who owns a photography studio in the sprawling metropolis where Robin hangs his cape. Today, “Big Daddy” was passing out Halloween candy in front of his operation. It was a perfect opportunity for the two to chat without blowing their cover. (3) The local barbershop is “Gossip City, USA”. Nothing is sacred. Nothing is secret. Nevertheless, Mr. Neville zealously guards our superhero’s secret identity while keeping the Teen Titan’s hair neatly trimmed. Once again, we are reminded that fighting crime and looking good are important to Robin. The best part for our superhero – the penny he receives from Mr. Neville at the end of their encounter to feed the gum machine standing in the corner of the barbershop. Are sweets are hero’s Achilles heel? Holy Double Bubble Batman! Let’s hope the villains don’t find out. (4) Robin has his fair share of female admirers. Is it the mask that draws women to our youthful hero? Is it his fine physique – that rippling six-pack of which he is so proud? The tights? Here, Ms. Jennifer poses with our champion who looks as if he is preoccupied. Is he worried about the possibility that Ms. Jennifer knows his secret identity? After all, she and her daughters baby-sat our hero while he was disguised as mild, mannered Jackson. (5) In every male superhero’s life, there is the inevitable encounter with the beautiful femme fatale who tries to lure our do-gooder away from his chosen path of fighting evil. Is this the one that will ultimately capture Robin’s heart? Robin assures us that he and this bejeweled beauty, Katy, are “just friends” but can he truly resist her charms? Will he hang up his cape for this cutey? (6) At the end of the day, our hero meets up with another caped comrade. This mystical sorceress is Lauren. She and the Boy Wonder are long-time friends. In fact they both played t-ball on the same team last summer. When asked if being friends with another superhero caused any problems, Robin was simply quoted as saying, “I like Lauren but she hugs me too much!” All in all, being Robin’s sidekick for Halloween 2004 was a true learning experience. Batman himself would have had trouble keeping up!”
