First, to get the old timey look of the paper, I soaked it in tea for about 4 hours. When I was satisfied with the effect, I let it air dry outside for around 2 hours. In the meantime, I took a blank sheet of computer paper and worked on my layout while waiting on the "teaed" paper to dry. The top and bottom borders are the backside of a piece of cardboard, commonly found in most homes. I got a "nifty" quote off the internet to give the page character, and then to make it look more fancy, I glued (hot glue) four random brownish buttons on below the horse picture. As my final touch, I decorated the border with a twine ribbon design.
