How funny! I hear you loud and clear (Florida here!!). We were out of power 2 season's ago for 3 days. We have two refrigerators...they were both full. Grrrrr!!!

AWESOME journaling! Love that you preserved this piece of history! Alot of us thought about doing a page where were you on 9/11? But I think "Where were you when hurricaine Katrina hit?" is equally as appropriate. So many lives were devastated then too and just like 9/11 countless hours where spent just watching the news and shaking our heads. I even was watching New Orleans news via the internet until they lost signal. It was definitely "a moment" in history! Great LO!

Thanks for the Memories - We were in North FLA. And had 4 hurricanes that affected us a few years back - and the freezer was never cleaner from 5 days with no power.....

I loved your topic for this page. I love reading about it. If I lived in an area that was prone to disasters I might have reacted that way as well espicially after Katrina hit. There are some great reason I live where I do. We don't have national diasters. When we get rain we get some flooding and I remember the Imperial Palace along the strip in Vegas had a river run through it but that was the owners fault he built the hotel in a wash. Not to bright. Anyway, love the page. Sue
