This layout definately reaches deep into a mother's core. My son and I were just looking over the photo albums a week ago - and I felt a huge tug from within. Life just travels at the speed of light - little fingers turn into capable hands and boyish grins into knowing smiles. You have inspired me to get my thought of him into some layouts - perhaps to share with his children one day.
Oh, this makes me sad...to think that someday things will change...all these fun kid words/noises etc...great lO!! :) Good reminder to enjoy these moments!
Awesome LO Helen! I love it! In our hearts our children will always be just that, our children, no matter how grown up they get! Cherish these moments! They're gone all too soon! You are so smart to scrap them! I wish I had be a scrapper 10 years ago when mine were little!
Wow Helen, this is so wonderful! I love the "stitching " lines, the b/w combination, the font on the title, the photo.....but MOST of all...the sentiment expressed. This is oh so true! Maybe you have inspired me to do one like this with an old picture of Kevin...and a matching page of him and his children 30 years later! Enjoy your 5 year old...he'll all too soon be a grown-up.
OK Helen, this one has me teary-eyed! Might have to scraplift this and do one of James....do you mind? It's absolutely perfect and so very true! Our little boys are growing up way too fast!! Very touching!!
