The rest of my Saturday was done camera-free, so I had to improvise and supplement from the internet–isn't it wonderful?…we had a very busy day.Text reads:If only I had remembered the camera,You might have seenThe troll under the Fremont bridge as we hunted for a parking place to visit the Fremont Library to pick up the next book (Midnight)in the Warrior's series by Erin Hunter that Owen wanted.Us listening to our latest book on CD, “Many Waters” by Madeleine L'Engle as we drove up to Grandma's house. The boys getting their hair cut by a barber named Paul Barber who is notorious for using hair shears about a foot long in length.A mix of orange and pink 8 lb bowling balls bouncing and sometimes ricocheting off the bumpers as we worked on technique at Glacier Lanes in Everett, with Grandma watching us amused. Mom managed to squeeze a win with 106 points, Owen a close second with 96 points and Noah scored 79 points.Piled high plates filled with pot roast, fried chicken, pepperoni pizza, bean & cheese burritos, spinach salad, red jello, corn, carrots, pickles, cottage cheese, melons, mandarin oranges, baked potatoes, baked apples, bread pudding and after dinner mints plus much more as each of us picked what we wanted to eat from the buffet at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Marysville.Noah stretched out on the bed in the extra bedroom contently watching “Fantastic 4” and Owen with his nose buried in his new book, Debi drinking a cup of tea while throwing a ball for Teddy, Grandma's dog and Grandma working on a jigsaw puzzle in her dining room. The boys laughing hilariously as they tried to trick and outrun each other as they played Mario Kart on there DS's as we drove home through the rain. The shocked and relieved look on my face as we avoided hitting a stalled car in the middle of the bridge on a dark and drizzly night as we were careening at 60 MPH.You might have seen all this, if ONLY I had remembered my camera.
frames by red Leaf digiscrapping (split frames)
fonts: scriptina
