This is one done for last week's flashback friday challenge about Surprises<br> There&Back kit by digilicious Designs at Pickleberrypop<br> font: Renaissance, Bookman, AdineKimberg Script<br> text reads: It was 1973. I was in college in Seattle, just 45 miles away, but I didn't have a car. I decided one Friday that I'd come for a surprise visit after a summer job interview I had in Everett. I took the city bus to the Greyhound Station and caughta bus to the south end of Everett. After my interview, I rode a city bus across town, then I called you from a pay phone. There were no cell phones then. There was no answer. So with suitcase in hand, I started walking across the 3 mile trestle bridge and headed up Cavalero Hill until I reached a high school friend's house. and called again. Still no answer, so they dropped me off at your house. I let myself in with my key and waited…and waited…and waited…over 6 hours before you came home at 11 p.m. to find me there. SURPRISE! Well guess this one was on me. Next time I'll call and let you know my plans first.
