I just saw this page at the BG website - fantastic!! I'm really going to have to use your idea of the bits of bright scrap on dark cardstock - it looks so good - and I love the letters cut from the colourful paper! BTW your little guy is such a cutie-pie, such beautiful eyes!!
Wonderful LO! Great b/w pic on dark backgroun in contrast to all the rainbow colors. You must be very patient to sew all those colorful stitches. Right into my favs. Good job. God bless our true colors.
That is one great photo! Your ds looks so angelic and his eyes just sparkle which says a lot in a B&W photo. Okay, how'd you do that stitching with each stitch being a different color? It looks wonderful.
This page is AMAZING. I absolutly LOVE IT love it...Great picture and love the song. The stitching is fabulous how you incorperated all the colors into. Into my favs.

Another great one Debbie!! I love all the pieces of patterned paper and expecially the star punches placed throughout! I also love the song and think it's so perfect for this layout!!
Love these bright colors on the black background! The stitched frame is unique - nice work! - and the squares/rectangles of paper balance out nicely. The song lyrics are very appropriate for a tween, I think... :)
Stunningly creative, love the multicoloured stitching, the way you have used the different sized blocks around the lo and the lyrics are perfect - cute photo too, fabulous job on the challenge, TFS :)
What is not to love about this great page? I love the way you framed the photo with great patterns. I love the stars punched out of some squares, the great stitching and the sweet photo. Awesome!
Very cute! I love all the bright colors against the black paper and the quote goes perfectly. This is going straight to my favorites file! Great layout!
Here is my LO for the August Color Challenge and week 2 of 52 Challenges. I used all the challenge colors in my PP and in the stitched "frame" around the picture. The journaling is some of the Lyrics from the Cyndi Lauper song, "True Colors". I've been so inspired by Elsie's new book. The picture is my oldest son who is becoming a "tween" faster than I'd like! The page looks a bit crooked in this picture, it's straight IRL!
