This is a piece that I made for a fairy themed fat book swap. I created the background using Golden paints, an old book, a regular pencil and a charcoal pencil. The text is from an old book. The little girl is my grandma. I must admit that I am not completely happy with this work. I used the techniques for poppets as described by Claudine Hellmuth in her new book and as a result, I think that this peice looks not enough like ‘mine’…I like the technique, but I haven't worked enough with it to make her look like mine and not a blatent Claudine rip-off…Hope you enjoy it anyways :-)
