First of all, and most importantly, the photo is by Tara Whitney…she has such amazingly creative photography ideas. I decided to not mess around with the title and get right to the point. This fall we found out that we were going to have major fertility problems and we have been coming to terms with it since. All things considered, we are incredibly fortunate to be able to know what the problem is and, hopefully, what we can do about it. Sean spent several years waiting for me not to be frightened out of my mind about the prospect of another baby (I was 20, single, and overwhelmed by a complicated pregnancy and premature birth with McIntosh) and then we did a lot of planning to get ready…buying a car, rearranging bedrooms in our house and so on. Our situation has been a little more emotionally complicated by the fact that my Dad told us right after we found out we couldn't get pregnant that he and his wife are having a baby this spring a week before my 29th birthday. No matter what happens, we are already blessed to have each other and Mac…however a baby someway or another will be a dream come true. Thanks for letting me share…
