My cousin stayed with me this past weekend on his way back to Thailand where he lives. His mom, my aunt, called from Michigan and left a message to say goodbye, but we didn't get it until after dropping him off at the airport. Her message just broke my heart…her voice cracked into tears at the end telling him how much she loved him. She has five kids (her youngest is a Marine serving in Fallujah) and the last one will leave this week to go back to school…leaving her home empty for the first time. My cousin needed me to send back a couple jackets and a cell phone to her so I included a letter and made her this little book in the last couple days, since I was able to get a lot of pictures of our family from various trips this past year. I told her to think of it as my attempt at a hug from 2500 miles away. I used a Li'l Davis chipboard album. I scanned the pages in groups of four. It's pretty simple, since I had to get it done to be in the mail today. Thanks for looking…and for reading all my rambling on. :)
