Journaling: Why is it that children love to sleep with so many stuffed animals? Isn’t it uncomfortable to have so little room to sleep? Don’t they feel crowded? As I tucked you into bed one night, it finally dawned on me why you choose to surround yourself with all this stuff. All the animals and things you sleep with GIVE you comfort. They are constant reminders of all the people who love you. Sister love-The minute you saw that Pooh blanket from Lauren, you fell in love. You have slept with it every night for three and a half years. Teacher love- Your teachers made this pillow for you when you were three. It has been with you every night since.Grandparent love- This bear was a present from Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Jerry for Christmas 2004. You fell in love with it’s soft fur and keep it in your bed always.Birthday love- After your sixth birthday party at Build-a-Bear you were so excited to see this yellow autograph bear. It is soft and squishy and perfect for cuddling. Mommy love- I received this whale when I was teaching. You discovered it recently and fell in love. You are so amazingly blessed with an abundance of people that love you. Although you may not always sleep with stuffed animals, special blankets and pillows, I hope you never forget that you are surrounded by love.

Thanks for looking! ~Lisa
