In reality we didn't know these people at all.

"Bought by Hemingway in 1931 for $8000, this very large house was where Hemingway wrote "The Old Man and the Sea" and "A Farewell to Arms". Reportedly, Hemingway only lived in the house for 10 years before he moved to Cuba."
