When my daughter was in first grade, she painted some stationary and gave it to me for a Mother's Day Present. I've saved that stationary all these years, and just recently wrote her a letter on it and sent it to her at college, on her 21st birthday.Journaling reads:Fourteen years ago, when you were in first grade, you made me this beautiful stationary for Mother’s Day. I was so touched by it, that I kept it all these years, just so I could write to you after you’ve left for college, on your 21st birthday. I can’t even begin to tell you how so very proud we are of the woman you’ve become. You have grown to be a beautiful, compassionate, kind hearted, intelligent young woman, and we never could have asked for more. I hope you never lose your sense of wonder that you had as a seven year old. I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance. Never settle for the path of least resistance and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance… I hope you dance…Paper: ClubScrapSticker Letters: FlaviaGingham Ribbon: Stampin Up (it was braided “fancy style” and used as photo corners)Cut out words: ClubscrapCheeseclothLetterbeadsThanks for lookin!
