I could not just be in the moment without being uncomfortable. Now at 40, I ask myself what I was so concerned about? Why was it so hard? I’m not half-bad… did I not see that? Brian really helped me let my guard down and embrace who I am. Now if someone does not “get me” or like me, I am much less affected by it. I imagine by 50 I may not care a bit… I guess that would be progress! My new outlook is so liberating…fancy free to be me. So good to be 40.
