Journaling reads: Two years ago, we’d just welcomed a little, clumsy 3 month-old into our family. We named him Tycho. He looked like a golden lab because he didn’t start getting his feathers until he was about one, but he sure was cute! Two years ago, you had just started 3rd grade, even though you were only six and a half. You blew through the first half just fine, but we took a whole year to get through the second half so you wouldn’t get too far ahead of your peers. Two years ago, I was a couple of months away from opening my store at MScraps, which has become the designing home I’ve been looking for since Pixel Canvas closed. At the time, I was feeling pretty lost as to where I wanted to go. Two years ago, we were finally relaxing a bit because it seemed like you’d found a secure placement in your new job. You were amazed to be getting enough pay, so much less drama, and a lot more fulfillment out of your work. Two years ago, we were just about the same as now, but different as well. I’m pleased that our family has but grown in its love and richness and the joy that we share with each other. And we still love our Oregon Coast just as much!
