Plum Blossom Branch from a stamp I designed for Art Neko. Journalling reads: My friend and stamp-business partner Candice has lived in Japan for many years, and has a home furnished with gorgeous Japanese creations. I was just thrilled when, during a recent visit, she actually pulled out a teapot and 3 cups, saucers, and dessert plates to give me! The set has a beautiful plum blossom pattern–very traditional, peaceful, and calming. They are now in pride of place on our livingroom mantlepiece, and were recently joined by a little iron-cast Roji teapot (complete with internal strainer) in a beautiful raised sakura pattern. Now, I just have to set aside some time to properly appreciate making a relaxing cup of tea!
