For the Saturday Scraplift of Cindy B's page at Designer Digitals! The fun of homeschooling is serendipitously landing in a super-interesting extension of the exercise you'd set out on… who knew you could pick up iron particles from sand!Credits: Papers by Anna Aspnes (Designer Digitals, Mama Page Set), Kellie Mize (DD, Winter Surf Kit), and Rhonna Farrer (2Peas, Celebration Kit). Also by Anna Aspnes are more elements of the Mama Page Set: staples, stitching, stitching holes, and a brown border that's been blended in on the left. From Kellie Mize's Winter Surf Kit I also used the tags (on the left). My compass needle, such as it is. Fonts: Century-nu-gothic, 1942 Report, and Cotillion. Journaling reads: “July 2008 – We had the best time going out to Yachats River Beach to search for metal treasures with this huge magnet we got at the Science Factory a while back. After you'd finished finding the treasures I'd planted, we noticed that the magnet was covered with iron filings! What a fabulous, impromptu science lesson–we examined the red iron-bearing rocks lining the beach, and you tried to collect more and more filings by sweeping the sand.”
