What does a Two Peas member do when life gets a little crazy? Scrap therapy! My six year old son Christopher was diagnosed with Autism last week so I thought I'd do some scrap therapy. Hidden journaling reads: For more than a year Dan and I have been searching for answers to explain our son's difficulties in preschool and kindergarten. Why is everything so hard for him? Why can't we drop him off at school without him going into a crying fit? Why does he prefer to play alone or with adults instead of kids his own age? Why the out-of-control tantrums at school? What sets these tantrums in motion? Why doesn't he like school? This week we finally found the answers we were in search of, a diagnosis. Autism. Not the kind of news any parent expects to hear or can prepare for. Now what? We have so many questions. It's the beginning of another long journey that we'll need to take one-step-at-a-time.
