We left Sylvan Lake, Alberta around 3:00 pm on Monday, July 31, 2006. It just finished raining right before we had left so we were heading for blue skies...so I thought!

Heading South on Highway 21 was great, hardly any traffic on a Monday afternoon being I was so nervous about riding on my own.

Roughly an hour into our ride we stopped to take a picture. Not realizing that Rick (husband) captured the huge black cloud hanging overhead! I kept telling myself, "I can do this, I can do this!" The wind picked up and started tossing me a little bit back and forth on the road! I then started telling myself, "I can't do this, I can't do this!" So I flicked on my signal light to show Rick (husband) and David (brother) I needed to stop as my heart was racing!

We pulled over onto some gravel at the roadside. As I was taking off my helmet I noticed a huge rainbow across the road behind Rick and David. Once again I whipped out the camera and got some really good shots!
