The background strips are colored with a techique called slamming (there's a lesson on this on the scrapping board. The strips were mostly leftover from a larger slamming project when I cut the cardstock to size. So, I used up the scrap strips, hence the term “stripping.” Very simple card but a good way to use up scraps. Second version is very similar but uses different width strips and white rather than gold eyelets. I think I like the multi-width better.Enjoy!
