I did this paper-to-digital hybrid layout using alcohol-based inks and Club Scrap's “Gimme A Ring” digital kit. I started by sponging Pinata and Ranger inks onto a thin sheet of acrylic. After it dried, I scanned it with a white piece of paper on top to ensure no ink got onto the lid of my scanner. Then I used the scanned ink along with the Club Scrap kit to make this digital layout. I took most of the color out of the photo by making a layer black and white, setting a color layer over the top of it, then reducing the opacity of the top layer to about 20%.
