This was a layout designed by Candice Carpenter, adn I modified it to fit my needs a bit better since my picture orientations were different than her's. Pics are from my trip with my mom to Rome last year. This was her first time in Italy and therefore her very first gelato. All patterned papers are Daisy D's I think, I added a pecie of Jenni Bowlin red polka dot PP to have a bit more balance. Vintage stickers are Paper Source. Bling is Heidi Swapp, felt is American Crafts, ribbons are Lil Davis, the rest are miscellaneous/unknown source. The journalling is a conversation that took place that night that depicts my mom dismissing my interest in a gelato bar as impulsive. I ended up buying a cone and she ended up taking it over when I offered her a taste. Same thing happened again with the 2nd and 3rd one. Needless to say, my mom got to experience her very first gelato's that night and loved them.Please disregard the shadow on the bottom left corner due to the bulkiness of the ribbon flower.
