I had the BG Soleil collection sitting on my desk and this just kinda came together. Probably for the best as it was hard to pair the photo with anything because of the garish colours (but I didn't want to turn it black and white). I pulled some rather neutral paper (BG Basics) and cardstock to surround the photo and help calm the whole thing down.Journalling reads: One of my elective classes in my first semester of high school was drama, taught by Ms. Mallette who was a phenomenal teacher. We learnt the basics like how to read plays, do improv, miming, as well as lots of back stage work. We learnt how to make beards and wigs,, do set design, props, sound and lighting, and even special effects make-up. We spent many days learning how to make some very realistic looking wounds and make basic prothesis. For extra credit, we often did public displays. We spent a Saturday miming at the mall and another Saturday being manequins. We were taught how to be perfectly still, how to time our blinking, how to ignore an itch (very important!), and how to move so that a passerby saw the movement in their peripheral vision and questioned whether they actually saw us move. And we always did it in costume. Drama was probably one of the best classes I could have taken in my first semester. What a boost of confidence! I just wish there had been further drama courses available at my school. It was a blast.
