Realizing that we won't always live where we do now, we decided to try to take little day trips to see more of our region. This day we went north to Chico and beautiful Bidwell Park.Journaling:We walked along the creek.We watched the water rush by.To keep James moving along, we pointed things out along the way. Trees, he has seen. Horse poop was new and exciting! We could get him to move a little faster if we said we saw horse poop further along the path. This momentary rush though would lead to him stopping to investigate the poop. I was taken in by the beauty of our surroundings. James was taken in by the poop. I suppose that is to be expected when taking a walk with a two year old and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
