Liitle Grandson wanted to be a big boy!He wanted a big boy bed.He was so excited when his wish came true!!1. Playing on the new bed. The picture above the bed is a pen and ink drawing of a rod and reel. I found it at the Salvation army for around $7.00 The vinyl fly fisherman on the wall above the bed is from the local fly tying store. The white ikea shelf was a dollar at a garage sale. On that shelf is a carved black bear, an old tin pickup truck, a iron moose head, and an old inner tube from a gymbo window display (the little stool on the floor by the bed came from there as well). 2. ditto3. Proudly showing off the fish bookends that hold his bible and nursery rhymes and also the flyfisherman lamp on the endtable!4. Demonstrating his fish drawer handles5. Big sister demonstrating how beds have linens (unlike cribs) and how you have to be tucked in and sleep on a pillow. Thank goodness for big sisters…they know EVERYTHING!6. More of same7. Big sister posing8. The clock ticks towards bedtime as Daddy reads a bedtime story. Peter has on PJ's that match his bear/camping./fishing quilt. His sheets are flyfishing ties and the second set are pinecones and trees. DD bought them last year on clearance somewhere in America. The land of great sales!!!
