<p>I love how a diecut machine can make simple shapes for you so easily. I have the Slice - which I know is pretty basic compared to some of the other systems, but it is perfect for me because I can leave it in a corner of my very messy desk and just grab it and cut when the mood strikes. No fiddling around - just super easy. I used the &quot;Noteworthy&quot; card to cut out these scalloped circle frames and I was also able to use the inside of one of the circles as well.</p><p>I mixed up the products in this one a bit more than I usually do. I thought all of these bright colors worked together well. I like mixing bright colors with kraft cardstock. The pictures aren't particularly fantastic, and there is a lot going on in them, but the DS games are so bright…I wanted to convey the happy colors, but still keep the background neutral enough that the pictures didn't get overwhelmed. I went with the bird and owl accents because they were too freakin' cute not to use. I hoped that they fit in with the theme since they were animal games that the girls were playing, but if not…oh well!</p><p>I have a love/hate relationship with those DSs.
