<p>It's summer swim team season here and I've been taking a crazy amount of photos (I'm one of the team photographers). I'm trying especially hard to capture pictures of Madelyn because she swims year-round - swimming is a big part of her life - but I have virtually no pictures.&nbsp; You usually can't get down on the pool deck during her winter meets and the lighting is atrocious. So when she is outside swimming in the bright sunshine and I can get nice and close, I have to do all my swimming documentation while I can get it.</p><p>The theme this month is &quot;Finishing Touches&quot; and we were advised to think of it as what is that thing you add to make a layout &quot;yours.&quot; Well, I couldn't really think of anything I do that finishes layouts off, but I do think that most of my layouts look like I did them. So I thought about some of the things that I do on many of my layouts. Like, use a black background. And, I frequently use circles (although not as much as I used to) and I almost always mat my entire layout on another piece of cardstock. Finally, I frequently (although not always), journal with my computer on strips of paper. I did all that here.</p><p>I cut those wavy strips of paper with this <a href="http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/shop/60169/?f=qa_c&amp;c=31&amp;qa=Tonic [twopeasinabucket.com]">Tonic Cutter</a>.
