I'm so ready for spring! As I'm typing this, it is 75 degrees here, but they are talking about flurries this weekend. Argh!! Guess scrapping last spring is the closest I'm going to get to the real thing for a while.
Supplies
Fancy Pants Rub-ons
Epoxies from KI and Autumn Leaves
American Crafts cardstock letter stickers
Around the Block Chipboard Flowers
Black Pens (I used AC Slick Writers)
Kraft, white, and black cardstock
Directions
1. Trim photo to approximately 2.75“ x 6”. Mount flush with 4x6 photo on 6.5x8.5“ white cardstock.
2. Apply rub-ons to white cardstock and cut out.
3. Trim kraft cardstock to 11.75x11.75.” Mount on black cardstock. Trim another piece of scrap cardstock to 8x10." Center on layout, affix with temporary adhesive. Trace around edge with broad point marker to make a frame. Remove scrap cardstock.
4. Center white cardstock with photos in the middle of the black frame on your paper. Attach rub on accented pieces.
5. Use various epoxies to fill circles on rub-ons. Attach chipboard flowers and put epoxies in the center to cover phrases that don't work with your layout.
6. Spell out title with letter stickers. Journal with fine point black pen.
