Letter stickers are tied with patterned paper as my favorite scrapbook supply. They are timeless.. classic.. and admit it, so fun to use. :) I decided to use a ton of different types so you can see how many styles there are! There are thick cardstock type (tired:sei); there are thin, clear type (saD: Cthru); there are fuzzy ones (thankful:making memories); ones with patterns on them (young:making memories); teeny shaped tags (amazed:doodlebug); script, handwritten ones (frazzled:american crafts); grunged up ones (special:basic grey); big (old:mustard moon); kinds that are already mixed up for you so you don't have to think what goes with what (aware:doodlebug); colored (glad:autumn leaves); white (protective: doodlebug) and shaped (driven:KI memories).

When it comes to placing letter stickers it can be tricky to line them up straight! That is, if you are going for that look! :) Most of the time, I eyeball it.. I look at the letters and try to have the bottoms line up. But of course you can do it with a ruler or as I did here, I used the lines on the patterned paper to guide me! When I am about to stick my letters down, I always do it halfway, so if I need to readjust, it's not down for good.
Photo 3: Layout: a knack for making me laugh
This is one of my favorite things to do with letter stickers. It used to be really popular awhile back and now I don't see it as much, but I still love to do it.....mixing up letter styles/fonts. It's a great way to go through your stash! Out of e's-- go to a different manufacturer! :) One of the easiest ways I think of mixing my letters is to think if it is going to stay a solid color or if it's going to be mixed colors. Then I look at the fonts. Here I chose to primarily stick with classic type font and mix with a few handwritten script letters. I like the whimisical feel it adds to the title.
Another thing I did here was to keep the insides of the letters as I stuck them. I believe the first time I saw that done was by our Jackie Bonette, and now it is so popluar that it has made it into this tutorial. :) I like to do it for a few letters here and there...and when I think the title calls for some playfulness.
